Janet Malzahn is a local Austin attorney, a Constitutional activist, a passionate pro-child advocate, and a seasoned federal management consultant. She currently owns the leading AI implementation firm for the legal community (powered by Clio cloud consulting and vLex).   Janet is determined to make Austin #1 in the nation for ethical AI innovation, implementation, and model state regulation.  AI can slash government costs and taxes making life in Austin truly affordable again.  AI will upend the corrupt, local patriarchal system in favor of accountability, transparency and lightning speed efficiency.

​Janet lives with her husband in downtown Austin, and practices law across from the Capitol.   A UT Law graduate, licensed in Texas for 30+ years, Janet grew up in Canyon, and earned her undergrad at Texas Tech. She served as Assistant City Attorney in Dallas, taught constitutional law, and now hosts a Constitutional podcast.

Her forthcoming book, Constitutive: The Definition of American, exposes how WOKE ideology has replaced free speech with “cancel culture”, attacked religious freedom by misstating “separation of church and state”, undermined our basic moral code with theocratic “sharia law” and gutted property law with socialism.  Woke socialism has ruined our legal system leaving us all muted, lawless, bankrupt, divided and America on the brink of collapse.

Janet champions the Constitution and opposes judges and prosecutors who do not.  She supports the rule of law and stands strong for federal and state law enforcement.  She looks forward to working with Elon and Vice President Vance to create a secure, digital voter ID system to protect your most basic right as an American citizen.

​As a federal consultant, Janet has brought Fortune 50 companies and Federal agencies alike into compliance under federal mandate.  She has rooted out fraud, waste and abuse, and modernized broken systems.  Fiscal responsibility and transparency are non-negotiable; on time and under budget are the success of a company, a state, and a country.

Janet has worked for and with the Small Business Administration all her life. Small business is Texas business. SBA is Texas proud.  Janet supports Congressional efforts to deregulate small business, lowering costs for Austin entrepreneurs. She recently testified before the SBA Senate committee, exposing billions in SBA COVID relief fraud under the prior administration.  Janet will work to reduce the national debt by downsizing the bloated, post Covid agencies and eliminating the corrupt nonprofits.

Janet is a passionate, life-long, child advocate.  While in Washington DC, as the Director of the National Institute for Child Support Enforcement, Janet turned child support in Texas into a state profit center, cleared family court backlogs, and stopped wasteful welfare expenditures.

​

Janet was one of Austin’s first child advocates who actually went to the border.  Janet fought the sex trafficking of unaccompanied minors, built a State Bar liaison program for Spanish-speaking advocates, and helped Texas senators in Washington DC to close dangerous loopholes which empowered the cartels.

​

Janet marches with Moms for Liberty for school choice, vouchers, parental rights, moral values, gender safety — and against the mutilation of minors. She is a proud supporter of her CD 37 home church, St. Paul’s Lutheran, and its efforts to set the standard for excellence in Christian K-12 education as a Texas norm.   She supports the University of Austin as it works to get government out of higher education and TPUSA as they work with our children, teaching them to think and fight socialist indoctrination.

​As a former national delegate with the Travis County GOP, Janet fought to elect president Trump.   She led voter registration and stewardship seminars in churches across CD 37 — inspiring Christians to register, find their voice, and run for office.
